Fragrance families
Fragrance families allow us to categorize all the different perfumes. The different perfumes are grouped by structure or specific ingredients. These fragrance families were classified in 1983 by British fragrance specialist Michael Edwards in a so-called ‘Fragrance Wheel’. We distinguish 4 main families in this fragrance wheel, namely: floral, oriental wood and fresh. This one are then further divided into different subcategories, each with their own unique aroma.
